ADMISSION PROCEDURE

ADMISSIONE APLLICATION TO THE SELECTION

12 students will be admitted to the Master's degree. The course will not be held if the number of enrollees is less than 8. A further reserve of 4 places will be kept for auditor students.

The application, with the documentation listed below, must be submitted using the dedicated Google Form (available at the link Application - Google Form) no later than 1 p.m. CEST on Monday 5th October 2020.

The candidate will need a Gmail account to use Google Form

The applications and documentation received after the above deadline will not be processed


ADMISSION WITH ITALIAN DEGREE 

Italian and foreign citizens (nationals of EU and non-EU countries) who have an academic qualification awarded in Italy must submit the following documents together with their application:

  • Copy of a valid ID card/passport, legible and duly signed;
  • Copy of the Italian fiscal code (codice fiscale);
  • Updated European Curriculum vitae, including details of all academic qualifications;
  • Self-certification of the university degree, including marks and ECTS assigned to each exam;
  • English language Proficiency Certificate - B2 First or higher (if available and mandatory before the matriculation);
  • Letter of recommendation (if available);
  • Two minutes presentation video;
  • Any other title that the candidate intends to present (certificates, publications, etc.).

Applications may also be submitted by candidates, of all nationalities, about to graduate in Italy (application under condition). In this case, the admission to the program is conditional on the Candidate submitting, before the start of the Master’s course, a valid certification of the obtained degree. If this does not happen, the Candidate's application will automatically be excluded.
Applicants applying under condition to attain their Italian Master’s Degree, must upload a self-certification including transcripts of records with grades, weighted average and credits related to their Master’s Degree and their Bachelor’s Degree.

 

ADMISSION WITH FOREIGN DEGREE 

EU citizen or non-EU citizen who have an academic qualification awarded abroad must submit the following documents together with their application:

  1. Copy of a valid ID card/passport, legible and duly signed;
  2. Copy of the Italian fiscal code (if owned);
  3. Updated European Curriculum vitae including details of all academic qualifications;
  4. Original/certified copy of foreign degree (undergraduate and postgraduate degree for 2nd level continuing education programs), provided with a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish), legalization (if required), and one of the following documents:
    • declaration of equal value ("dichiarazione di valore") issued by the competent Italian Embassy/Consulate in the country where the foreign degree was obtained
    • statement of comparability issued by ENIC-NARIC centres (https://www.enic-naric.net/);
  5. Original/certified copy of the degree program transcript of records (undergraduate and postgraduate degree), issued by the foreign Institution/University, including marks and ECTS assigned to each exam, provided with a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish) and legalization (if required).
    If a Diploma Supplement is possessed, provided with legalization (if required), this document may be presented as an alternative to both documents listed above (4. degree provided with Declaration of equal value/Statement of comparability and 5. transcript of records);
  6. English language Proficiency Certificate (if available and mandatory before the matriculation);
  7. Letter of recommendation (if available);
  8. Two minutes presentation video;
  9. Any other title that the candidate intends to present (certificates, publications, etc.).

The University of Turin reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to request further documents if necessary for evaluating your educational background.

If not all the required documents listed above are available but the candidate holds a valid qualification to enrol in the Master’s Degree, an enrolled under a provisional status (“ammissione con riserva”) will be carried out and all missing documents will have to be submitted within one month from the end of the course (which is identified with the first session of the graduation exam).

To verify the required academic documents for the enrolment, it is necessary to include at least the following ones (or as alternative the Diploma Supplement):

  • Original/certified copy of foreign degree (undergraduate and postgraduate degree for 2nd level continuing education programs), provided with a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish), legalization (if required);
  • Original/certified copy of the degree program transcript of records (undergraduate and postgraduate degree), issued by the foreign Institution/University, including marks and ECTS assigned to each exam, provided with a certified translation into Italian (the translation into Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish) and legalization (if required).

If all missing documents within the deadlines are not provided, a certificate of attendance will be granted.

However, the possession of the entry requirements is mandatory at the time of the application deadline.
